There is nothing more remarkable than the way the human brain recognises a face. It is these distinct differences of shapes, lines, contours and shadows that fascinate me.
I love to explore these endless combinations and capture them with a variety of media such as acrylic on canvas or charcoal on paper.
Creating images that other people recognise is magical and to fulfil someone’s wish to own a portrait is such a pleasure.
Landscapes
I cannot think of a more accurate description of the guardian of all this beauty other than “Mother Nature” because who other than a parent could create such endless scenes of wonder.
To find time to capture these fleeting moments of awe is so rewarding.

A spectacular form of art that has evolved through many cultural interpretations that can be as personal as the skin into which it is sewn.

There is beauty all around me and often what may seem mundane can present a wonderful challenge and a totally unusual result full of hidden meanings.
The “Bugle & Pocket Watch” displays the time my grandson was born and my father owned both the bugle and watch.

I like unusual projects such as the tattooed hand which is now available individually or as multi coloured sets of four. Each one hand painted [sic] and slightly different making every single one unique.
I never though painting a picture of some models being remotely driven across a lake would look so good or even so realistic but it goes to show how versatile art can be.
